New Forest for Ukraine is a registered charity delivering humanitarian aid to displaced families in Ukraine.

We are a group of community volunteers from Hampshire who source, collect, sort, pack and palletize aid for shipment from our Lymington hub to Ukraine.

Operating efficiently within a very modest budget we have delivered over 500 tonnes of aid, benefitting thousands of mothers, children, aged and injured civilians. There are thousands more that still require help.

We urgently need physical goods to send to Ukrainian refugees and those in need in Ukraine. Requirements change with the seasons, so please take a look at our latest list.

As an all-volunteer group we rely only on the generosity of our financial donors to keep the trucks running. Every penny you donate will help us get aid to the needy.

8th Nov: Record vital aid deliveries as winter and war hit Ukraine

“It’s been our busiest period ever!” says John Allison, New Forest for Ukraine Lead speaking in October. “We usually send out one 52 pallet truck every three weeks, but last month we sent three trucks, stuffed full of essential supplies."

Wendy Warrington: nursing on the Ukraine frontline

Wendy is from Bury, in Greater Manchester – “you can hear it in my northern twang!” she tells me, with a laugh. But now she’s more likely to be on the Polish border with Ukraine, or travelling into Ukraine itself, than in England.

The People of Ukraine Need Your Help

New Forest for Ukraine is a group of like-minded volunteers living in the New Forest. We are united by our determination to help the millions of people displaced by the war in Ukraine, and our belief that together we can make a difference.

We focus on collecting and delivering the latest required aid directly to Ukrainian refugees and those still in Ukraine, and we do so quickly and efficiently.

As of March 2025, we have sent over 506 metric tonnes of aid and we do what we can to ensure door-to-door traceability to ensure your donations get to the people who need them most, including individuals and families sheltering on the front line.

We urgently need both physical and financial donations to keep our operations going. Please help in any way that you can. All of our team are volunteers, and are doing what we can to support, collect, sort and transport aid.
